  I love the people at first! I was told one time it is the people that make up the body of the church. I have made life long friendships that I look forward to connecting with and seeing on Sunday. I love My Sunday School class. Bob comfort is one of the best teachers. I admit am use to a more traditional Church. I would love to see the choir with beautiful robes on sometimes for maybe the holidays and I know it is silly. I love a alter with flowers and all that fu fu! I am over 60 that is my memories. I think a lot of the older members miss that because I here that a lot. I also love the praise Music and First Christmas is always done well. I personal would love to see more Christmas Carols in December. I see everyone come alive with songs like Silent night, Oh holy night. I look around in the seats I see the emotion and the enthusiasum spike when a Christmas Carol is added in. Just saying. Our Music director Lee does a fantastic job. I can not imagine the work that goes into first Christmas. I loved loved!! sparkie the card board posters last year. How fun that was, used that picture for my Christmas card picture this year :) The Children's area is bright and colorful they are always doing fun stuff for the little ones. Hot Chocolate at Christmas yum!! I feel like I am at home when at first. Gods house. I know this is long winded . I get my message cut off on answering machines to lol!!! Thank you to our pastor to Terry and Lee All at First. Even to the guy to stands out side in the rain with a umbrella for us ladies in the rain and the cold for all you do To give us Gods word and make us all feel so welcome and loved. Gennessee

  It's obvious to me that people leave reviews for no reason except to bash a church. Like the ones that leave one star with no explanation. Or, the person that said "Just sad if u r fighting cancer and can't give them money (tithe)then u can't go there. God loves u even if ur suffering and broke." ...As a church member myself, I know for a fact that is 100% false. My sister (also a church member) is on disability and has never been able to afford to tithe. No one has ever said a single word to her about that in over 10 years. In fact, if need help with something, there are many programs and people that will help you. It's hard for me to look at a bold faced lie and not say anything. I have never seen one single incident where a person of any financial position, creed or color was not welcomed with loving arms.

  I love this church! Christ is the center of this church and the music is breathtaking. I feel the presence of God the minute I walk in. Please join me. I am always needing a friend to sit with me. Hope to see you soon.

  I grew up in church. I've been around church people all my life. FBC is different. This a community of believers that truly want to help those in our community and around the world, experience the changing grace of our Lord and Savior. I attend the Valley campus with my family every week and it's a blessing to be among friends in the presence of the Holy Spirit. 10 am every Sunday. Come say Hi!
